What makes Christian Kofane a breakout talent?
Kofane made a transfer to the German club from Spanish Segunda side Albacete Balompié last summer. A significant squad restructuring at Bayer Leverkusen allowed him to impress during the club's training camp and establish himself.
Capitalizing on an early-season injury to regular starter Patrik Schick, Kofane found the net in consecutive Bundesliga starts last October. He recently repeated this achievement in the league. Overall, Kofane has scored five league goals this season.

Initially valued at €5 million upon his arrival at Leverkusen, he is now considered a €40 million talent. Given that Leverkusen only paid €5.25 million to acquire him, the club stands to make a significant profit should they decide to sell him. His potential transfer fee is reportedly in the region of €60-€70 million.
