Cesc Fabregas Hails Como's "Most Satisfying" Win, Backs Butez for France Call-Up

Cesc Fabregas described Como's 2-1 away victory over Cagliari as "the most satisfying win this season," attributing its significance to the team's fatigue following their Coppa Italia fixtures. He also asserted that goalkeeper Jean Butez is "ready for international duty."

Only two seasons removed from Serie B, Como, also known as the Lariani, are now competing in Serie A, battling for a top-four position and participating in the Coppa Italia semi-finals, enduring a demanding schedule of matches every three days.

Following a Tuesday evening 0-0 draw against Inter, Como secured a crucial 2-1 victory in Sardinia, with goals from Martin Baturina and Lucas Da Cunha, maintaining their strong form.

The victory was hard-earned; Sebastiano Esposito's diving header had temporarily equalized for Cagliari, and Como relied on a crucial fingertip save from Butez to deny Michel Adopo.

Regarding Butez, he praised, "Since joining, Butez has shown incredible dedication. He constantly seeks to improve and understands that success hinges on desire.
