Georgio Poullas Slams Arman Tsarukyan as "Coward" Following RAF 6 Controversy
The bitter rivalry between Georgio Poullas and Arman Tsarukyan shows no signs of abating. Hopes for a reconciliation were dashed after Poullas issued a scathing video message, to which the UFC contender promptly responded.
Tensions erupted during the RAF 6 co-main event on Saturday when Tsarukyan and Poullas clashed. What began as a competitive freestyle wrestling match quickly devolved into a widespread brawl, with punches and knees exchanged by both parties immediately after the bout.
Georgio Poullas appeared to bear the worst of the injuries from the altercation, seemingly at the hands of Arman Tsarukyan and his entourage. In a subsequent video message to his fans, Poullas was seen wearing a neck brace, indicating sustained injuries.
"I want to send a message to all my fans and supporters," Poullas stated, expressing gratitude. "I hope you guys got some enjoyment out of the match tonight."
Poullas then shifted his focus, condemning Tsarukyan and his team for their alleged assault on him and his family.
"Unfortunately, I was ambushed," Poullas recounted. "But as you guys saw, my 62-year-old dad and both my brothers rushed to my defense. We were raised to fight for each other, no matter the circumstances. We were outnumbered by about 12 Armenians, yet my family bravely intervened, fighting alongside and for me. That's true loyalty; that's our upbringing."
Directly addressing his opponent, Poullas declared, "To Arman, you're a coward." He added, "And for those who watched the match, I was the only one to secure a takedown. He merely accumulated penalty points from being pushed out. I remain the champion."
In recent years, Arman Tsarukyan has steadily built a significant presence within the MMA community, particularly on social media.
His followers are accustomed to seeing him feature in popular streamer videos and create short skits playfully mocking fellow UFC fighters. Tsarukyan is also known for his sharp, often witty remarks on X (formerly Twitter). He maintained this persona when he responded to Georgio Poullas after the RAF 6 incident.
Tsarukyan's terse response was, "Mess around and discover the consequences."
