Jashari: "We aim to go far in the Europa League too, we need to be ready"
Ardon Jashari, the Swiss midfielder for AC Milan, spoke with Sky Sport from the team's training camp in Jakarta. He shared his insights on the team's mindset and ambitions.
Jashari emphasized the importance of the group's mentality from the very first minutes on the field. He stated, "The club itself wants to win always, and we will do everything to achieve our goals. I can't say we'll win the Scudetto immediately; first, we need to build this new mentality by playing football and enjoying ourselves together. If we can combine these things, then we can do really well."
Addressing their absence from the Champions League, Jashari admitted, "It's obvious we're disappointed not to be playing in this competition; it was our goal last season. This year, we have the Europa League, and it will still be important, especially because we expect tough teams and difficult matches. We will need to be ready because we want to try and win in Europe as well."
