Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders is reportedly close to finalizing a significant transfer to Saudi Pro-League team Al-Qadsiah, with a reported fee of £52 million. This move comes less than a year after City acquired the Dutch international from AC Milan for £46.5 million.
Despite a promising start to his tenure at Manchester City, Reijnders found it challenging to make a substantial impact during Pep Guardiola's final season with the club. He contributed seven goals in 47 appearances.
The 28-year-old player was reportedly seen training separately from the main Manchester City squad on Thursday, indicating his imminent departure. He is expected to join a side now managed by former Liverpool, Celtic, and Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers.
